Larsen opposes legislation that increases taxes or the federal deficit; favors slashing all corporate, individual and household tax rates.	Lance voted in NJ Senate to deny property tax relief to homeowners; voted in Congress for programs that raise taxes and increase the deficit.
Big Government
Larsen opposes any federal spending not authorized by the Constitution; will support legislation that reduces size of federal government and federal regulations.	Lance voted consistently to fund and expand existing federal programs; voted to create new federal programs not authorized by the Constitution.
Earmarks
Larsen opposes any earmarks for pork barrel projects or special interests; signed the CAGW Earmark Reform Pledge.	Lance originally signed Earmark Reform Pledge then broke his promise and distributed millions of taxpayer dollars for pet projects and special interests.
Bailouts
Larsen opposes federal subsidies or bailouts for private sector businesses.	Lance voted to enable TARP II; voted in favor of defunct Cash for Clunkers program.
Cap and Trade
Larsen opposes radical agenda of the Sierra Club; will vote to repeal economically destructive Cap & Trade. Supports exploration, extraction and use of coal, natural gas and oil; supports nuclear power; supports fostering but not subsidizing viable alternative energy.	Lance embraces agenda of the Sierra Club; voted in favor of economically destructive Cap & Trade and continues to support it. Favors subsidizing wind, solar and other "green" technologies that are currently unviable in the marketplace.
Obama Care
Larsen opposes Obamacare and supports a free market approach to health care reform, including purchase of insurance across state lines, elimination of mandates, policy portability, tax incentives and tort reform.	Lance opposed Obamacare, but then proposed his own healthcare reform legislation that incorporates much of the Obamacare agenda and received support for his proposals from prominent liberal Democrats.
Social Issues
Larsen is staunchly pro-life; opposes gay marriage and opposes any special rights or privileges based on sexual orientation.	Lance is pro-choice and has partnered with Barney Frank to support legislation that extends special rights to gay and transgendered people in the workplace.
Town Halls
Larsen has pledged to conduct regular live town hall meetings in the 7th district to meet with and hear from his constituents.	Lance has conducted ONLY one town hall meeting and since then has only conducted telephone conference calls. What is he afraid of?
